5K500: The world's first 500GB laptop hard drive
The world's first 500GB laptop hard drive is now available. It just happens to be from Hitachi, the brand we carry. Hitachi is a leader in notebook hard drive solutions.
It is called the Travelstar 5K500 and you can read more about it on Hitachi's site here. The 5K500 is available in either a 400GB or 500GB model. The drive also can optionally come with Bulk Data Encryption.
